Healing Our Village Clinical Research Network is a division of Healing Our Village of Maryland Inc. (HOV). HOV was founded in 2004 by Dr. Lenore T. Coleman with the intent to eliminate Health Disparities worldwide. Dr. James R. Gavin III joined the company in 2007 and is currently the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Medical Officer. Drs. Gavin and Coleman have devoted their careers to improving the health and wellbeing of minority populations worldwide. With an emphasis on health education and advocacy, Healing Our Village provides disease management / medication therapy management to African American and Latino populations throughout the US and abroad, ADA certified diabetes education and nutrition classes in physician offices, hospitals and clinics.
