Healing Our Village, Inc. Village Club
Healing Our Village, Inc. has developed an innovative program for “At Risk” and vulnerable populations called “Village Club”. Village Club targets clients of major Health plans, Insurance Companies and Employer groups.
Village Club is a cost effective way to provide up-to-date information to your managed care clients and employees regarding chronic diseases, behavioral and lifestyle change. Through unlimited access to Podcasts from “Village Talk”, the members of Village Club will learn more about the management of diseases like diabetes, hypertension, coronary artery disease, dental care, heart failure, obesity, HIV/AIDS, Arthritis, Teen Health Issues and Mental Health (Depression, Anxiety and Stress Management) and much more. Village Talk airs every Saturday from 1:00pm - 2:00pm on WOL 1450AM or at WOLAM.com.
Members of Village Club will also receive access to Healing Our Village a Web-Based Television Show focusing on chronic disease management and prevention.
In addition to the interactive media outlets of radio and television, members of Village Club will receive a FREE consultation with a health educator of their choice. By calling the toll free number - 1-800-788-0941- members of Village Club can select to speak with one of the following health care professionals: diabetes educator, clinical pharmacist, clinical psychologist or registered dietician. During this free consultation the health educators will provide up-to-date information and correct specific knowledge gaps.
For a year membership rate of $29.95 Village Club members can begin to obtain critical disease specific knowledge and suggestions that will assist them in becoming more compliant with their medications, appropriate use of specialty services and the therapeutic recommendations of their health care providers.
