Healing our Village - the Health Education Professionals

Healing Our Village of MD, Inc (HOV) is an innovative, dynamic health communication corporation, headquartered in Lanham, Maryland with over 26 years of experience in the Healthcare Industry. HOV specializes in targeted advocacy, training, education and outreach for health care professionals and minority communities. HOV possesses a wide variety of experience in market research, professional education (physicians, pharmacists, certified diabetes educators, nursing), advisory/consultant meeting planning, wellness and prevention screening, event planning and production, data collection and reporting, sales force training.

Individual Appointments with a Health Educator, Certified Diabetes Educator, and/or Clinical Pharmacist

Do you need to meet with a Diabetes Educator or Registered Dietician? In addition to the in-office education, Healing Our Village, Inc. educators will provide online education (telemedicine) through a proprietary e-consult software. During the 30-minute interaction the participants will view a culturally appropriate slide presentation on multiple topic areas. Pre and Post-test questions are given at the beginning and end of the presentation to assess the degree of understanding of presented curriculum. At the end of the formal presentation a question and answer period occurs (10-15 minutes). Participants can either ask their questions using the telephone connections or type in questions via the computer.
